Nationals Dogs & AGP Schooling

We are schooling tomorrow and Saturday at AGP.  We will post results when we are finished.

Also, our Nationals dogs are winning schooling races already.  The “Gogo” dogs we ran through the ring and didn’t receive any substantial bids are schooling well at Palm Beach for Norm Rader.  This is the second schooling win for several of these:

Also, Hegone, the dog we sold to Jim Blanchard won a really nice schooling race at Dubuque for him:

Shegone (Ww Time Warp – Fonseca) and Repeating (Flying Hydrogen – Van’s Illusion) are going to be schooling on Sunday at Palm Beach.

Farm Update!

We are giving the dogs a rest today and tomorrow from schooling.  We will be back at it on Monday!
Farm work is moving along.  We put out the swimming pools in the front fields and are in process of filling the back pools now.  We have a new water tank for pulling behind the gator.  Steven is working on putting a pump to it so it can pump the water more efficiently.  As far as dog moves….Tempo Sugar Pops pups are in the kennel now.  We are about to bring both Gable Sour Cream litters (by Odd Garbo and My Destiny) in this week.  These pups will be kennel broke before they start training.  We also had several dogs leave for training from the 360′s to some other farms so we are getting ready to move dogs in from the back fields to these 360′ runs.  Dogs in the front fields we be moving out back (some may even go tot he 360s):  Kc And All – Greyt Dig Dug, Flying Coal City – Cv’s Mama Mia,  Kiowa Sweet Trey – Odd Francis, Kiowa Sweet Trey – Ct Buck Wild, Joe Hearns – Kelsos Candice, Em’s Mack Attack – T’s Gettie Up, Djays Octane – Ctw Hair Raising, Flying Culloden – Cjc’s Elite.
We tattooed pups this week and moved them up to the pup building and we have 3 bitches due to have pups in the next week and a half.  Two of the litters will have pups available for sale:
•    He Said So – Pr’s Maddy Rae
•    Uss Cool Luke – Kb’s Sabina Lass
As far as breedings are concerned, Wp’s Cameo appears to be showing with a month to go….she is bred to Kiowa Sweet Trey.  Also, Silver Idol has been bred to Flupascrackerbox, so we are very excited about these pups.
Ken’s health has been on the minds of many lately.  I have been answering e-mails and phone calls as best as I can.  He is doing well and no longer has to return to the hospital for the Lovenox shots.  He is very happy about that.  But we do have physical cardiac rehab three times a week to help his heart repair and grow stronger.  We hope this will help him recover quickly.  Ken cannot handle dogs at this point and has been advised to stay out of the heat, so he has to be very careful.  We have been blessed to have some fantastic help on the farm (Christopher Grieb, Steven, Dionna, Kim, Bodie and Dakota).  I’d like to take time to thank them for their hard work and dedication.  We couldn’t have done this without them and they do such a great job with the dogs.  Everybody was really impressed with how they look when they visited during the Nationals.
So things are busy here at Signature Farm!

Impressed with the runs of some of the younger pups today:

  • Kelsos Red Rory – 31.42
  • Kelsos Jaguar – 31.46
  • Kelsos Locknload – 31.57

Kelsos Ruby Dee shows a ton of late speed and appears that the Hifalutins are showing more talent at this point in training.

Kelsos Trapeze runs the turns and shows plenty of speed.  Her run under 32 was also very good.

We schooled later today at 12:50p so we were happy with the times.  Three people schooled earlier in the morning and were lucky to break 30 seconds.

First three schoolers today in order: Bernie Collette 30.67, 30.89, 31.29, 31.20, 31.39, 31.42, 31.36; Hambletons 31.26, 31.61, 31.64, 31.92, 32.20; Wayne Ward 31.49, 30.95, 31.16, 31.01, 31.36, 31.39, 31.42, 31.51, 31.64, 31.20, 31.89;
